Hope Sweet Hope

Interview Angel is the first business I’ve had the courage to take from idea to market.

Lately, I’ve been questioning whether I would start up the company all over again if given the choice.

It’s been more difficult (and expensive) than I ever imagined.

Significance, not success has been my motivation.

I know we’ve all taken risks with our respective careers.

At what point do we walk away?

What is it that keeps us going?

Perhaps it is hope.

Last week when I desperately needed something to pick me up, two messages were delivered.

The first message was a small poster laying on a chair at the gym.

It simply read:

Hope Sweet Hope.

(It is pictured above)

The second message was received from a customer in Michigan.

The email read:

I purchased my Interview Angel and wow!

Even after having purchased numerous 30 minute interview, cover letter, resume, and other 30 minute books, I am finding your padfolio to be the ‘One-Stop’ shop for all things related to employment and gaining a new perspective on preparation when looking for employment.

Thank you so much for your labor of love towards helping countless people find employment and like me, looking to change careers.

Blessings to you and your family.

Pay Attention to the Messages

My sincere hope for all of you is that you also find the messages you need to keep going.

Hope Sweet Hope.

Your thoughts? What also brings you hope?

Thanks for sharing.

This was a terrific message to share, thank you! I am in the midst of a job hunt and some weeks are more productive than others. This one was less productive so it is nice to get an optimistic thought as it winds down–to carry me into next week. Plus, while I followed you on Twitter, I’m just now seeing the mission behind your company. That is a great way to give back to those in need. Glad I got to learn more about you here.
